Friday night and the place to be if you wanted to enjoy the best House and Electro music was Fusion night club. With one of the best light shows and stages in Shanghai Fusion is always ready for the best DJs and this time it was turn to receive one the latest talents from the famous record company “Armada Music”, Vigel!

The night started out as any Friday night should, the crowd was enjoying some drinks and dancing to beat of the music forgetting anything else that has happened during the week as everyone was just enjoying the night ahead of us and luckily we had Vigel in charge of making that happen all night. His set started showing the great influence that being in Armada Music has and showing from the beginning that he was focused on getting every detail of mixing at the right moment. Vigel was presented with the challenge of playing for a crowd that is used the very best DJs every weekend, so focusing on having the right track and dropping the beat in the exact place was his formula for success.

Vigel showed a good mixing style breaking silences between vocals keeping the BPM constant allowing the songs to shine and giving some time for the crowd to sing along. We got a taste of his own original house music mixes, some classic remixes (Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” and the Eurhythmics’ “Sweet Dreams”) and off course some of the influences of stemming from his collaborations with Armin Van Buuren in trance music to which Vigel is no stranger to.

There is only one way to end the night if you have been mixing right: “end hard end good”, that was the only way of closing a night that took the crowd and made it jump, shout and dance and as the beat rose up for the last songs we could not be more excited and Vigel shared the same feeling as he waved to the crowd thanking us all for following him and his music through the entire evening in one of the craziest cities in the world, Shanghai.
