Andre Hommen is well known for all his melody, groove, and sinister mastery. The German DJ will play in Lola Club, on November 11, with the event powered by Red Bull.
If you don't believe us, just ask Denis Ferrer, Tensnake and Fritz Kalkbrenner. Hommen worked remixing some of these DJ's projects and releases music on the heavyweightlikes-of Objektivity, Poker Flat and Suol. His EP “The Bottom Line”, released in 2014 has groovy tracks that are hard to forget. However, his most recent EP “Battery Park”, released in 2015, it’s definitely his biggest success and was rated as #8 in Resident Advisor Top 100 Tracks in 2015.
ABOUT ANDRE HOMMEN
For five years now, he has played an important part in the creative and administrative team behind Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint and has had the opportunity to develop projects by artists including Ferrer, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, Henrik Schwarz and more. In collaboration with the producer Gorge of the 8bit label, André Hommen's first release for Objektivity was created - his acclaimed debut title "Marashi" from 2009 was one of the most played tracks of that year, followed by his second Objektivity release in 2011 - 'No Difference', a collaboration with Dennis Ferrer.
After a lot of touring between 2011 and 2014, he finally found time to go back to the studio and released his first EP called "The Bottom Line", in mid-2014. This groovy number consists of three tracks that are style-wise all very different, showing off Hommen's wide range as a producer. In 2015 he released the EP ‘Battery Park’ and Resident Advisor has charted it at #8 in RA Top 100 Tracks of 2015. He is currently dividing his time between touring and studio, working on his next EP, and will be landing in Shanghai soon!
